Strut Your Mutt Team: Salt Lake County Animal Services

You can STRUT from the comfort of your home, or wherever!

If you’re interested, we will hold a pickup party for people who reach their big goals and help our pets! Salt Lake County Animal Services Team will be holding a social distance event on October 24 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Wheeler Historic Farm. While you’re there feel free to take a walk around the farm with your pup and enjoy the fall weather. We will have a booth set-up in front of the activity barn giving out dog treats to people on our team. If you’re on our team and raise over $100 you get a dog toy, raise $500 or more you get freesbie, blanket and dog toy. And over $1000 you get a dog basket!

This event at the Wheeler Farm is solely organized and put on by Salt Lake County Animal Services.

Strut Your Mutt Day is the virtual walk and fundraising event coordinated by Best Friends Animal Society that saves the lives of dogs and cats in communities across the country.

In 2019 Salt Lake County Animal Services provided care for over 13,000 animals. We cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, chickens, goats, pigs, reptiles, birds and small mammals. As you can imagine, caring for all of these animals not only requires a lot of time but also involves a lot of additional expenses. That’s why keeping our shelter up to “pawr” is one of our top priorities, but we need your help!

Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help to better the lives of homeless pets.
